Context

SamTap was my first real dive into UX. As a product design intern at Samsung, I took on the challenge of creating a slide controller for smartwatches (back when Sketch and InVision were still the go-to tools.) It taught me how to think small (literally) and design for tiny screens without losing the big picture.

Key Highlights

* 90% of testers said the app was easier than their current tool. * Shipped as part of Samsung’s suite. * Designed for small circular screens with limited info density. * Aligned UI with Tizen patterns + Google brand. * Added bezel rotation as alternative slide control method.
